Cantuccio or Cantuccino is widespread in Tuscany and particularly in Siena where the combination of ”Cantucciand and Vin Santo” is considered one of the best ways to complete a good meal. When you think of cantucci, you have a typically “slow” image of the pleasures of the table, the slow and pleasant rhythm marked by the choice of the cantuccio, its encounter with fortified wine and finally the sublimation of the palate. All this perhaps in good company, when the conversation flows fluently until there is only the last sweet left!
